New Fictional Book On Street Racing: "Last Ride" Is Inspired By The Life Of Evo's Founder Bryan Harrison Source: Evo Street Racer's Research Dept. In the process of researching content for the book Laura Langston consulted with Evo Street Racers Founder and President Mr. Bryan C. Harrison. Initially the topic of conversation was a broad overview of illegal street racing until Laura inquired on his personal experiences with the crime. The conversation delved deep into Bryan's four years of participating in illegal street racing from the busy streets of NYC to barren desert roads of Phoenix and how he came to creating Evo Street Racers. Bryan's life experience of why he raced illegally, how he lost his best friend to an illegal street race, and why he continued to visit his best friend's girlfriend in the hospital (whom suffered a coma from the accident) acted as one of the many true stories that inspired the plot around the fictional character Tom Shields. Mr. Harrison stated: "I was especially privileged to help Laura on the book as she is an amazing author that has the uncanny ability to envelope young adults into reading about important topics like illegal street racing. Few people have the ability to do this and Laura does it for a living."
