Evo is excited to release the first article of a three part series that will discuss the highly anticipated and requested topic of celebrities that illegal street race. Professional racers get paid to race cars on the track so why on earth would they race illegally on the street? The grandson of NASCAR, the son of a iconic wrestler, and our favorite stars from Indy Car and Formula One have all felt the need to disregard the safety of the populace by illegally racing their supercars well beyond the speed limit.
Jamie France (J.C. France) (2010 United States):
Media reports allege that J. C. France, grandson of the renowned NASCAR France Family and professional race car driver, was charged with illegal street racing in his 2007 lime green Lamborghini against his step-brother in his Porsche, narcotics possession, and driving under the influence. A "jurisdictional technicality" allowed J.C. France’s to dodge all charges (The Daytona Beach officer pulled-over France just outside his department’s jurisdiction).
The original reason for J.C. France being pulled-over by law enforcement was an illegal street racing traffic infringement. Strangely only two of the thirteen media headlines referenced the original charge of illegal street racing. Why not state the obvious: Professional race car driver from the founding family of legal organized motorsports caught illegal street racing?
Please note that this is the same J.C. France that entered into, literally, a fistfight on the race track with pro-racer Chris Bingham at the Grand Am Rolex race in Mexico City (2006).

Nick Hogan (Nicholas Bollea) (2007 United States):
The media reported that Nick Hogan, son of the iconic wrestler Hulk Hogan, was illegally street racing his father’s Toyota Supra while under the influence of alcohol (.02 or higher), lost control of the vehicle, and crashed. The crash caused tragic long term brain injuries to Hogan’s passenger John Graziano. According to court documents John Graziano has/is suffering from "lose a portion of his brain, to be confined to a wheelchair and to be in a minimally conscious state requiring full time care." Hogan was sentenced to eight months in jail, served five, had his driver’s license suspended for three years, and the Graziano pursued a civil suit against him. Exact terms of the civil suit and the settlement are confidential.
A largely unknown fact about Nick Hogan is that prior to the tragic illegal street race accident in 2007 he competed in a professional drifting racing circuit. Within the past few months Nick Hogan has began pursuing his career in professional drifting with the launching of a new motorsports team with a message to stop illegal street racing.
