Wrong. When you mix celebrities, fast cars, and in many cases intoxication it has led to deadly results. The celebrities involved in illegal street racing stretch the entire spectrum of entertainment from professional athletes, musicians and actors, and even professional car racers. NBA players, pro golf player, reality TV star, music rapper, pro drifter, pro road racer, and beyond have all been attracted to the crime of illegal street racing. Celebrities have the money, power, notoriety, and the ability to not only race on a sanctioned track but to rent the entire facility. In fact many of the celebrities that will be discussed in the coming month have the wealth to outright buy a race track for their personal usage. Why then, as its not a matter of access or funds to race on a track, would a celebrity illegally race on public roads? Many professionals and public agencies rely/relied solely on the concept "build it and they will come" in offering a race track's services to illegal street racing and it will eradicate the problem. Evo Street Racers has rebuked this point for nearly a decade and has gone on the record in stating that illegal street racing is a societal problem requiring a comprehensive solution that must consider the track but go well beyond it. Unfortunately these celebrities had every chance to race legally on a track and elected not to do so. In fact some of these celebrities career is as professional race car driver and they still raced illegally on the street! Sadly as result of the poor choice(s) many of these celebrities will never be given a second chance as they tragically died, were sent to jail, or at a minimum found a legal loophole to reduce the charges. A quick query of Evo Street Racers general media database revealed nearly 75 articles about celebrities poor choices and the tragic ends to not only there own life's but to there passenger(s) as a consequence of illegal street racing.
